Shri Gurunanak Public Boys Inter College

Chief Guest Vidhan Sabha Speaker Shri Harbans Kapoor inaugurated the Dynamic website based on CMS www.sgnpboys.org of Shri Gurunanak Public Boys Inter College Chukhuwala on 7th may 2011.

On the occasion students presented a welcome song to greet the chief guest. Students also performed various cultural programmes like poetry recitation, Bharatnatyam, Judo-karate and yoga.
Management of the school, President Jasbir Marwah Manager Sardar Gurmej Singh, Principal Jasbir singh Virk greeted the chief guest by presenting bouquet.
A book ‘FEELING’ authored by Biology Lecturer S. Satpal Singh was released. Satpal Singh also spoke about the book.
Board members of the school congratulated the Principal, teachers and students for the launch of website. They said that website will prove very useful to all. Manager of the school S. Gurmej Singh said that the present era belongs to information technology. Principal of the school said that the students who passed from the school can also now remain with touch with their alumni mates. He said that there are 12 computers in the computer lab which are linked with internet and all the students are receiving computer education. He said that the website is dedicated to the Founder Principal of the school Late Kishan Singh.
Chief Guest Shri Harbans Kapoor said that along with school education, children ought also to have technical education regarding the internet. This would help them gather information in their fields of interest. He said that now schools had also begun to utilizes information technology, which could further strengthen school education. He also announced Rs. Two Lakh for the school.

At last Principal Jasbir Singh Virk proposed Vote of Thanx and thanked the chief guest for releasing the college website. He also thanked the member of the Board of the school and m/s Falcon Solution and Services for designing Dynamic website based on Content Management System.
